Whirlpool’s budget-tier brand. Top-load washers, electric dryers, basic ranges, top-freezer fridges. We service what others skip.
Amana is Whirlpool’s budget house brand — simpler controls, fewer features, lower price point. Common in Toronto rentals, apartment-building fit-outs, and secondary kitchens. Engineering is similar to basic Whirlpool but with fewer options. Parts are cheap and fast. The repair math usually favours fixing over replacing on anything under 8 years old.
NTW series — lid switch fails, washer won’t spin. Common, quick fix and we carry the part.
NED series — electric element replacement, straightforward.
ART/ATB series — thermostat drift after 5+ years. Cheap part, quick swap.
AER series — visible element break. Straightforward replacement, common part on the van.
ADB series — microswitch in the latch wears out.
NTW — drive belt on top-loaders. Simple teardown.
ART, ATB, ASI (fridges); NTW (washers); NED, NGD (dryers); ADB (dishwashers); AER, AGR (ranges); AMV (microwaves).
Under 8 years old, almost always yes — Amana parts are inexpensive and widely available, so most repairs make financial sense. We diagnose on-site and give you an exact number to weigh against replacement.
Same parent, simpler components. Think Whirlpool’s "basic" sub-brand. Some parts cross, some don’t.
