Bosch dishwashers dominate Toronto condos. Wall ovens, induction cooktops, Ascenta and 500/800/Benchmark dishwashers, and the newer refrigeration line — all handled.
Bosch dishwashers are the default spec for almost every mid-market and up new Toronto condo build. German engineering, quiet motors, integrated panel friendly. Bosch is also one of the most repairable brands on the market — parts supply is excellent and the error-code system (E01–E24) is precise enough to diagnose most faults within minutes. They’re also one of the longer-lived dishwasher lines.
The Aqua-Stop has detected water in the base pan. Could be a drip tray or a tub leak — needs immediate diagnosis to prevent full Aqua-Stop shutdown.
Drain pump or check valve. Bosch pump failures are easy to diagnose — the motor simply doesn’t spin on the drain cycle.
HBL/HBG series — control module failures after 8–12 years. Heat stress accumulates. A known, repairable fault — we diagnose and quote on-site.
NIT/NITP — individual induction elements can fail independently. Usually a triac or control board issue. Diagnoseable via error code.
B36/B30 column fridges. Clicking but not starting = relay. Quick swap.
Wax motor or spring failure — door won’t open mid-cycle. Dishwasher runs detergent-free.
SHE, SHP, SHX, SHV, SGE (dishwashers — Ascenta, 100, 300, 500, 800, Benchmark); HBL, HBG (wall ovens); HIIP, HGS (ranges); NIT, NITP (induction cooktops); B36, B30 (column fridges); WAT, WTB (washers).
Moderate. The Aqua-Stop has sensed moisture and put the machine in safe mode. Sometimes it’s just a condensation drip, sometimes a real leak. Needs diagnosis same-day.
Yes — quieter operation, better water efficiency, longer service life than most mass-market brands. The 500 and 800 series are the sweet spot.
Excellent. Bosch Canada has a Mississauga distribution hub and runs same-day/next-day on common dishwasher parts. Wall oven parts can take 3–5 days for discontinued models.
12–15 years with moderate use, commonly. We still service 20-year-old Bosch dishwashers.
