Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

✓ Same-Day Service ✓ Licensed Technicians ✓ TSSA G2 Gas Certified ✓ Fully Insured

These terms govern your use of Toronto Appliance Fix’s website and repair services. By booking a repair or using our site, you agree to the following.

1. Service scope

We provide in-home appliance diagnosis and repair across the Greater Toronto Area. Our technicians are Ontario-licensed, TSSA G2 gas-certified, and carry general commercial liability insurance. Services are offered on a best-efforts basis within the scope of what our diagnosis identifies.

2. Diagnostic fees and quotes

A flat-rate diagnostic fee applies to every on-site visit. The fee is waived if you approve the repair at the quoted price. All repair quotes are provided in writing (or recorded verbally) before work begins. Parts and labour estimates are valid for 14 days.

3. Parts and labour quality standard

We offer a 30-day quality standard on parts and labour for every repair. If the original fault recurs within 30 days of our work, we will return and re-service at no charge. The standard does not cover unrelated new failures, customer-caused damage, or appliances disassembled by a third party after our visit.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept e-transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and debit. Invoices are issued after the appliance is confirmed back in working order.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

No-cost rescheduling is available up to 2 hours before your scheduled window. Cancellations made after the technician has dispatched incur a trip fee equal to the diagnostic rate.

6. Limitation of liability

We carry general commercial liability insurance. Our total liability for any single repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair. We are not liable for consequential damages (food spoilage, laundry re-runs, missed work, etc.) except where required by applicable Ontario law.

7. Parts sourcing

We use OEM (original manufacturer) parts by default. Where OEM parts are discontinued or back-ordered, we use manufacturer-approved equivalents and will disclose this on your invoice.

8. Gas work

Gas appliance work is performed by TSSA G2-licensed technicians under Ontario regulation. We may refuse service if the gas system shows a pre-existing safety defect; in such cases we will document the condition and recommend a licensed gas contractor.

9. Website use

Website content is provided for informational purposes. Service availability, pricing ranges, and business hours are subject to change without notice. Do not rely on website content as a substitute for a direct service quote.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute arising from our services will be resolved in Ontario courts.
