DishDrawer dishwashers, ActiveSmart French-door fridges, AeroTech washers, gas and induction ranges. New Zealand engineering — same-day Toronto service.
Fisher & Paykel (now owned by Haier) makes some of the most distinctive appliances on the Toronto market — most famously the DishDrawer, a drawer-style dishwasher that runs as either a single or double unit. Their ActiveSmart French-door fridges and Izona gas ranges are also common in newer Toronto condos and renovated downtown kitchens. Engineering is genuinely different from North American and European norms; we know the quirks.
DD24 series — wash motor seal failure is the signature DishDrawer issue. F1/F2 error codes. Replaceable without replacing the unit.
Standing water in the drawer = drain pump or check valve. Less common than wash motor but easy diagnosis.
RF series — evaporator or condenser fan motor after 8+ years. Diagnostic via service mode.
WashSmart top-loaders — control board failures. Model-specific replacement.
OR30 / OR36 Izona ranges — igniter replacement, TSSA G2.
DD24DCHTX9 — upper touch panel goes unresponsive. Cable or panel replacement.
DD24, DD60 (DishDrawer dishwashers); RF, RS, RX (ActiveSmart fridges); WH, IW (washers); DE, DG (dryers); OR24, OR30, OR36 (Izona ranges); CG, CI (cooktops).
Almost always fixing. New DishDrawers are expensive, and replacements often involve cabinetry rework — the repair math strongly favours service for any fixable fault. We diagnose on-site and quote before any work so you can run the numbers.
Yes — upper and lower are mechanically and electrically independent. Common to repair one while the other continues to run normally.
Good for DishDrawer parts — Haier Canada stocks them. Other lines sometimes take 5–10 days.
